Spring is a long way off yet here in Ohio. I was reviewing some pictures I took in 2008 while in Prairie Oaks metro park and am looking forward to seeing some greenery and life soon in 2009.
For now, I’ll try to enjoy the winter walks.

 
 
 
We had a great weekend in Chicago. This picture was taken from the condo we rented on the 49th floor of 175 North Harbor. We had a perfect view of Lakeshore Drive, Millenium Park, Cloud Gate, Grant Park, Shedd’s Aquarium, The Field Museum, The Art Museum much of Michigan Avenue and of course Lake Michigan.

While taking a bike ride from Antrim Park to The Ohio State campus, we noticed that the part of the trail from North Broadway and continuing South has now been named Bicycle Boulevard. Beyond giving it the name, they have improved the path with good pavement. It is a great ride in the fall.

 
I saw this sign for a business in Lakeside, OH over the weekend. MMMMM…. baked flowers.

Rebecca went to the Ohio State football season opener and put together the video above. Not bad for one of her first uses of iMovie. She put it together quite rapidly and easily.

 
 
 
Here is a picture taken of my first batch roasting RIP (Roasted In Parchment) coffee. I won’t know for a bit how the coffee turned out.
